Intercity trunks
Fast lines between major city pairs where demand already exists. The corridors are known. What has been missing is a builder that can deliver them at a survivable cost.

slab track.
Slab track is a concrete trackbed with the rails fastened directly to it, used instead of gravel ballast. Newer high-speed lines in China, Japan, and Europe run on it.
The slabs are manufactured off-site, shipped to the corridor, and aligned to millimeter tolerance. Ballasted track needs constant tamping to hold geometry at speed. Slab track holds its geometry on its own.
Standard Railroad is building the domestic engineering and manufacturing capability to deploy it in the United States. It's the first product in the delivery system, not the last.
